We went back to Madinat Jumeriah to show Nonna the little shopping area
We went to the Mall of the Emirates to look around and to see the indoor ski hill!

We drove out to look at the palm tree shaped, man-made island, Palm Jumeriah. Again, just another nutty thing found in the Gulf States. Hotel Atlantis (only other one is in the Bahamas) is found on this artificial island. Another Google Image of what Nonna and Olivia are standing on:
That would be the tallest building in the world, Burj Al Khalifa
Olivia could not believe she was sitting right by the tallest building in world!!

People were gathering for an hour down by the water before the first water show. We had a great seat from the restaurant the Mike found an available table for us at the last minute.
So cool! The girls loved the show (Mama did too)
Both are also really pretty at night with the lights.
