Halloween

What a super fun Halloween!  Olivia indicated she wanted to be a mermaid since ealy this summer.  Once she gets an idea like that, it rarely changes.  We were looking at costumes in a catalog and Eliza really liked the fish!  Perfect for an "Under the Sea" theme for this year.

All of our crew (Ducky and Pong Pong, Nonna and Papa, Aunt Murf, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Joel) all met at our house.  We then went over to our neighbors, The Wrights, for some Halloween cupcakes!  Then we all went and trick or treated our little street.  My girls were so excited to trick or treat with our sweet neighbors!!

We started with a Halloween dance party in the empty house!  I love this photo: Olivia is striking a pose and Eliza is looking at her like, "Okay, big sister, is this right?"

 RUNNING to The Wright's house!

Checking out the scary guy at Mrs. Pam's house

I think this is the only picture we got of Eliza in the hat that went with her "Glitter Fish" costume

RUNNING again to the first house.

Our sweet bus stop friend, Bella (3rd grade) opened the door

 Decisions, decisions

This was the funniest part.  All of our crew watching it all from the street!

 With our neighbor, Amanda (Tigger)

With Amanda and Emily (An Amazing Race contestant).  Both Emily and Amanda made their own costumes

Both of my girls think Amanda and Emily and the greatest thing ever!  They are both so sweet to my girls.

After a pizza break at our house, we headed over to our friends, The Gring's, house.  Their neighborhood, just over from ours, is more conducive to little ones trick or treating.  The kids had a BLAST and the parents did too.  Clayton Gring had a wagon with beer, wine and tunes :)

The Grings left out a note with their candy, "One piece per child.  Santa is watching"

Cruising the street.  By this point, Olivia had had enough of her costume.  It was hard to walk in and part of the tulle had gotten all tangled in her feet and I didn't notice until we were almost done.  She exclaimed, "I am never wearing this costume again!"  She was frustrated she couldn't quite keep up! :)
Love this!  Both looking down checking out their loot!
