I had enrolled Eliza at Chapelwood, Olivia's school from last year that I was thrilled with. When we thought we were going to be moving in mid September, I decided to let her spot go and just keep her home with me for those few weeks. Well, once we found out how delayed everything was going to be I tried calling them to see if her spot was still available...it was not! I was so bummed. She adores school--lives for it! I called the place she went to Mother's Day Out last year and they had one spot open, just on Fridays. We took it! She was so excited to go to school, "Like Livy does". She was, however, quite annoyed that I drover her to school and there was no bus to pick her up, like big sister. When we pulled into the parking lot she asked me where we were and I told her her "school". She said (well, screamed!), "I wanna ride bus to school like Livy"!!! Too funny!
Wanting to carry it all herself, also like sister!
She wouldn't look at me for a good one outside her classroom, so interested in all the hustle and bustle of the hallway.
She walked right in and sat down and went right to it. Just after I took this, she said, "Bye Mom". Okay, no separation issues there!
She loves Ms. Sarah and Ms. Manahs. They are just so sweet! They are both Persian and their English is not stellar (this kills the SLP in me!) but such lovely ladies!
