Field Trip!

I was lucky enough to be able to go on Olivia's field trip to a hydroponic vegetable farm.  It was so interesting to see this farm; they do a majority of their planting without any soil.  This farm is subsidized by the government, as it tries to encourage self-sustaining projects all over the UAE.  Something we didn't know until we went, we had been buying their lettuce from our local grocery store all year.
