Swimming in FREEZING Temperatures

One of the wildest things is swimming in an outdoor heated pool when it is literally freezing outside. What is even crazier, is doing that with an elk 10 feet away. We went to Banff a couple weekends ago and while Mike went snowboarding, Olivia and I hit to pool. It is the perfect temperature and you don't get cold at all. Your hair does freeze if it is wet though.

There is a door that is only a couple feet away from the steps leading into the pool. It does sting a bit to get hit with -10 degree cold in a bathing suit before you enter the warm pool. Sadly, we only had a cell phone camera and these aren't the best pictures. It is hard to have a camera out in the pool when you have no lounge chair to put all of your things on!

Apparently, he had enough of the screaming kiddos and left!
