We haven't had too much to blog out lately as Olivia has been sick sick. Last week, she had a stomach bug that was going around. It was the first time Olivia has ever thrown up and she didn't quite know what to make of it. At 6 AM one morning, I got a "MOMMY, I spilled". I thought water has spilled from her sippy cup and half asleep, I changed her sheets and pajamas and put her back to bed. Thirty minutes later I got another "spilled" call and then I figured it out. She got sick one more time and then it was done. Apparently, a seemingly 2 hour stomach bug was going around. If there is one to get, this is the one!
This week she had the highest fevers she has ever had and we stayed at home Tuesday-Saturday. Once her medicine would kick in and she felt better, she would ask if it was time to go to school. One day out of no where she said, "I love school". She hated missing out on all the fun.
The winter snow was making me stir crazy enough without a sick little one! Poor thing. She was just pitiful. She has a horrible sounding cough! This morning, her fever finally broke and she is on the mend. I think she watched more PBS this week than she has in her entire life, combined. We now know all the children's shows on PBS and I have seen more than enough cartoons to last a life time! Of course, next week is her Spring Break and we will have an entire week of no activities. Time for Mommy to get creative...in doors.

Shucks. I hope she is feeling better, and that you were able to avoid getting sick, too.
She must be better, you didn't have to SKYPE me this week! :) Hope she is feeling much better & the temp outside is tolerable and you have come up with some inventive way to delight Olivia, as usual! You are such a good mother!
