For those who didn't get to experience my all-consuming preschool application process, you missed out on a typical "Stephanie over-researching, over-thinking obsession"! Who knew that applying to preschools could be so complicated (or that I could make it so)?!
We applied to four preschools in total. Olivia was accepted to two and wait-listed at the other two. Thankfully, she was accepted to our first and second choice!! While that was great news, it made for another "Stephanie over-researching, over-thinking obsession".
We finally decided to go with The Fay School!! I just loved it. I really got a great feel while touring the campus and think it fits well with our family. It is non-denominational on a beautiful campus that backs up to the Buffalo Bayou. It is preschool through 5th grade. This will provide us with options in terms of where we will live when we move back to Houston. We will be able to stay in our house in the Heights for a few years if we want, without having to worry about moving to a neighborhood within a better school district.
Hooray for Olivia!! Now if we could just be sure we were moving back to Houston next!!!

Congrats. Choosing a school is a big undertaking-- you can't overthink education.
