Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and Saint-Tropez

In mid-June, we started our two week blissful French vacation with Aunt Murf in The French Riviera.  We all flew into Nice, our home base, and did several day trips to the surrounding cities.  To say that the French Riviera is stunning would be a massive understatement.  It is just beautiful!

 Flower market in Nice

Aunt Murf!!!!!  Thrilled to be taking this trip with her!

We hopped on a quick 1 Euro bus ride to Cannes! The beautiful Carlton Hotel.

Just missing the red carpet!  This is where the stars enter for the Cannes Film Festival

At the top of the castle in Cannes, Château de la Castre

Stunning! A gazillion dollars worth of yachts

 My lovelies

O trying to take in the view and E giggling while trying to block her view...typical :-)

We took the looooooong way home after dinner back in Nice.  We were laughing about how lost we got and what fun we had dong it.

 Gorgeous Monaco

Monaco, also a gazillion dollars worth of yachts

 Palace where Princess Grace lived

O is still in love with her audio guides.  She has to listen to every. single. word.

 Monte-Carlo Casino

Olivia spent most of her stroller time reading Rainbow Fairy books!

 Beautiful water

Walking back to our apartment, there was a little dance party in front of a bar that the girls joined in on :-)

On our way to Avignon, we stopped at the most incredible picturesque beach restaurant in Saint-Tropez.  Mike is such a super travel planner.  He read about this place and it did not disappoint.  We had the most incredible lunch by the water.

Mama's happy place--a beautiful view with my favorite people and an excellent glass of rosé
