Paris

On our way to Paris, we had a pit stop in Boene, a quant little town that we really enjoyed.

A fun self serve wine tour

Our apartment in Paris was very close to Notre Dame. Another trip to Paris and another missed opportunity to go in Notre Dame

 Love these girls!

 Louvre

We thoroughly enjoyed the Musee de l'Orangerie.  Monet's water lilies were just fabulous, as was the space.

Olivia LOVES museums.  She wants to be sure we see all the highlights listed in the brochure.

She really takes in every painting.  It is truly amazing to see her really enjoy each one.

These Renoir's were her favorites.  She liked that they looked like her and Eliza, one blond and one brunette.

One our trip Egypt with Aunt Murf, we saw the matching obelisk to this one.

Arc de Triomphe from the top of the Eiffel Tower

 My people

Arc de Triomphe from the ground

Loved that we were there when the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage and the gay pride parade.

This picture perfectly characterizes my girls...one cheeky and the other sweet

My photos from France include so many pictures of yummy champagne labels.  Almost every night, as Mike and I were putting the girls down, Aunt Murf would go out and found yet another amazing bottle of champagne (or two!)

Our lovely apartment in Paris.  Breakfast each morning was so yummy!

Beautiful Musee d'Orsay, an old train station

Yummy!  One of our favorites

Here we go!  We didn't tell the girls we were going to Disney.  We popped up out of the train station and this is what we saw!  Eliza screamed with glee and Olivia was stoic :-)

 Dumbo ride!

Mike bravely took the Tea Cups ride

 One of Cinderella's mice

The Parade!

I will never ever forget how absolutely thrilled the girls were at the parade.  They were screaming at all of the characters with so much awe.  "HI PETER, HI PETER!!!!!"  It was too funny!

Aunt Murf took one for the team and stood in line for tickets to meet a princess.  They loved how Aurora liked their pink dresses :-)

:-)

On our way to "Parents Disney"...Reims, the land of champagne

We stopped and had lunch at this super yummy little bakery.  They spoke zero English and it was a little interesting ordering.

This fair skinned girl needs lotsa sunscreen

 Reims

 Joan or Arc statue

 Pommery champagne house

 Going down into the cave

O loved her sparking juice

 Cheers!

Trying to get into Reinart....we got denied!

We just barely got into a tour at my "mecca", Vueve de Clicquot

Poor Mike had to carry this sleeping 4 year old down into both champagne caves

 Fabulous!

 Seriously, what could be better??!!

The Monet Lisa at The Louvre

O at a museum, always on a mission to see everything in the brochure

 Venus de Milo

 My Goyard!

 Super duper yummy soufflĂ© restaurant

Love this picture.  At the base of the Eiffel Tower after we decided against the unshaded boat tour

After having some champagne under the Eiffel Tower, we all took turns napping.  This was a record breaking hot day in Paris.

 Last day in Paris

What an AMAZING trip!  I can not think of a better person to share this trip with other than my awesome Aunt Murf.  Loved every minute!

At the airport in Paris, about to fly to Rockport via Germany, via Houston...

At the airport in Houston....two weeks in France and these girls were DONE!
