Opening Night MLB

Easter night, Aunt Murf invited us to the opening night of MLB!  We had so much fun!  The girls got to have a fun sleep-over at Nonna and Papa's.

Easter in Katy

After the big Easter Egg hunt in Rockport, we hit the road and headed right to Katy for more Easter fun.

Making cupcakes with Aunt Carrie

The Easter Bunny also came to Katy!!

Olivia had so much fun hunting for Easter eggs in Rockport, she wanted us to hide more so she could have another hunt :)

 Super fun Uncle Joel

 Easter egg toss

While we were having dinner, Eliza had disappeared and things got quiet.  I discovered Eliza in Nonna's make-up drawer.  She ate about half of a tube of lipstick and put the other half all over her face.  Such a stinker!!

Easter in Rockport

We headed down to Rockport for Easter this year.  Lots of fun in the sun with family.

Taking a ride on Pong Pong's pontoon.  Eliza HATES wearing a life jacket!

A banana helped keep her mind of wearing her life jacket

Helping Pong Pong drive the boat.

Keeping one hand on Eliza, the monkey, at all times to keep her from jumping overboard.

The Easter bunny came to Rockport!

 Finding her first egg

Eliza was a little confused.  Before Olivia got up, Eliza helped the "Easter Bunny" hide all of the eggs.  When she got out there with her basket, we were trying to get her to put the eggs IN her basket and all she wanted to do was take them out and put them back!

Finding eggs on the putting green!

 Uncle Matt helping out.

 With Ducky

I thought showing her that there were treats inside the eggs would get her interested in collecting eggs.  It just got her interested in eating everything in all the eggs!

 My gorgeous girls!

Dance Photo Shoot

Olivia had a costume check and photo shoot at her dance studio.  I think she looks adorable!  She looks so different and grown up with her hair up and no glasses!  This is Andrea and Caroline, two or her close friends from school who are in another dance class.

Easter Egg Hunt at School

Olivia had to decorate an egg carton to bring to the egg hunt at school.  I got really into it and spent a ridiculous amount of time making it perfect!  Olivia helped...a little :)

I painted it with acrylic craft paint.  Then sprayed it with adhesive spray and sprinkled it with glitter.  I made some flowers with coordinating cupcake liners.  Then found some Washi tape that matched perfectly and added some foam letters and jewels.  Olivia loved it and thought it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen! It was perfectly fancy for my fancy girl.

She had to fill it with 12 treat filled eggs.  They numbered all of the children's eggs 1-12 and during the hunt, they had to find one of every number to fill their carton.  I thought that was such a clever idea.  It made the hunt last longer and I loved that she only had 12 eggs of candy and not 50!

The "flowers" I made.

 So proud and excited!

Making sure she didn't already have this numbered egg

Potty Training?!?!

Eliza has decided to potty train herself.  I am sooo not ready for this.  She loves being a big girl on the potty and thinks it is a really fun game.  She wasn't even two yet when all of this started!!  She wants to be just like her big sister.  She has some days were she never has a wet diaper all day and others where she is not at all interested.  If she asks to go, I take her.  But I am not really encouraging her at all.  I am not interested in doing the Houston public restroom tour.  If we are at home, that is one thing.  But out and about is another!
