December: Winter Parties, Concerts, and Celebrations

This made me giggle. Not all grocery stores sell pork here, but if they do, it is in back rooms behind closed doors.  Here is what one looked like.  I thought it was funny it had a big "Merry Christmas" decoration on it.

We held a white elephant/going away party for our dear friend, Kerry

Just like Christa, Angie and I made everyone a personalized champagne flute

 Winter concert!

Our awesome principal dressed as an elf

 Olivia's turn

We went to the Swiss Market at the Beach Rotana hotel

They fly in a real German band for the event each year

Holiday Extravaganza at school.  I love this event.  It is so fun!

 Santa!

 Pancakes

 Getting their nails done

Olivia doing the ropes course at a birthday party at Adventure HQ

Oh, Maya!  This has annoyingly become a common site first thing in the morning.  At almost 16, she has become sooooo naughty.  She has become an early rising havoc raiser.  She pulls down my purse and the girls' backpacks, if she can reach them, to look for food and gum.  Grrrrr!

My Daisy troop working on their helpful petal by moving the lost and found so people can see it

Girls Night Out with my gym crew!  Beautiful night, with the mosque in the background

Kerry, Kate, Melanie, SSR, Angie and Elizabeth

One of my favorite photos...so many tears of laughter

Eliza's field trip to Saadiyat Beach to learn about sea turtles

 Acting like turtle hatchlings

Eliza Louise!  Helping herself to three plates of food at the Christmas party!
