May: Talent Show, Recital, SSR B-Day

Fun with her good friend, Ava!

My Mother's Day drawing.  It included a picture of a "shampane" glass :-)

My gym crew.  This was sadly a going away for Brigid, Nena, Rebecca, and Kathy

 Love this photo!

Olivia and her friend Francesca choreographed a dance to the song "Roar".  They were thrilled to have been selected.

Her friends, Nina and Amna did a Bollywood dance

With "The Glow Girls"

Eliza worked for days on this caterpillar house.  It provided an air free home for the many caterpillars she trapped in the backyard.  The end result was 5 feet tall and we decided it was best to just leave them in nature!

 Mismatched crazy day!

Dance Recital time.  The theme this year was The Lion King.

Eliza was a parrot.

Olivia was a gazelle for her ballet routine

With Nina and Amna, Meerkats!  Olivia was transformed into a meerkat backstage after her ballet routine.

Now a meerkat

 Friends congratulating them!

Eliza wanted to wear her costume the next week to her dance class.  I told her that she might be the only one wearing it.  She said she liked being different that everyone else!

"Eliza wants to protect the trees, animals and flowers"

"Swap Day" The children dressed up like the teachers...

and the teachers like the students.  Mrs. Farwa dressed up like Eliza, complete with a bow

Dress up like your favorite character day.  Olivia chose a gymnastics Rainbow Fairy.

We had the most relaxing weekend at the Ritz in Dubai.  We hardly left the resort!

 "Everybody's happy"

My sweet friends organized a birthday Bunco party for me.  I am so lucky to have such an amazing tribe of friends here in Abu Dhabi.  We have so much fun together.

Olivia's end of the year party I helped organize.  Pin the mustache on their teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth

Giving her an amazing drawing one of the parents did.

 A book Eliza made.

 Dinner date with Daddy!

Going to see her friends' hip hop show

We went to see our neighbor's play.  She was Wednesday in The Adams Family.  The girls loved it!

Last day of school (we left a week early to avoid as much Ramadan as we could)!
