We thought it would be fun to go to Dallas for Texas/OU weekend, even though we did not have tickets for the game. We had so much fun at the State Fair! We had a bit of a rough start. I intentionally left my purse at the house. Mike went to an ATM to get cash to park and discovered his ATM card was expired. Once in the Fair grounds, we could use credit card, but needed $15 to park. After about 30 minutes of trying to figure out how to get a cash advance from American Express and that failing, Mike went into a pharmacy to try to get cash one more time from our American Express card. Unbelievably, sitting in the ATM machine was a $20 bill!!! It was crazy! Mike waited for a long time to see if anyone came to claim it. That has never happened to us or anyone I have ever heard of. In a time of need of just $15, $20 magically appeared! During all of this chaos, Olivia fell asleep in the car. We had intended to use the stroller for Eliza, but Olivia ended up sleeping through the first hour of the State Fair in the stroller. She must have been exhausted!!

She did not wake up when I moved her from the car to the stroller and slept for about an hour while strolling around the loud Fair!
Mike got a jalepeno corn dog! This might have been Eliza's last ride in the Baby Bjorn :)
A Longhorn!!
A giraffe in the children's area
Feeding a longhorn
Grab the goat by the horns :)
In the middle of the chaos of the Fair, we found this quiet shaded, turf spot to enjoy Eliza's first funnel cake. The girls were HUGE fans!
Loving the powdered sugar
The only ride she rode on. For whatever reason, she just wanted to do this one.

I loved this post! That $20 was clearly meant for you. While you said you intentionally left your purse at home, I think you meant accidentally...?
Olivia licking the funnel cake plate - I can totally relate. I love me some funnel cake.
