Happy 3/4 of a Year!

Happy 9 months to my sweet, happy "Little Bit".

At her 9 month appointment, her fabulous doctor said it was time to let her cry it out at night-- no more night feedings! She has been waking up around 2 and 5 every night for a couple months now. I was gearing up to let her cry it out that night and right before bed, I chickened out saying we would do it this weekend. Unbelievably, she must have heard the doctor, because that night SHE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT! It was the first full night sleep I have gotten in well over a year. The funny thing was, I couldn't even remember whether or not I had fed her; I have become such a night time feeding robot. I finally figured it out that she did, in fact, sleep 12 hours without a peep...I still can't believe it. She has done it ever since too, it wasn't just a fluke! Waahhhh hooooooo!

This month has brought lots of super cute baby things: clapping, waving, banging two objects together and just being a rolly polly baby. She has gotten to eat a lot of yummy solids...she is NOT into purees anymore.

Her Stats:

Weight: 18.2 lbs (50.6 %)
Height: 27.5 in. (47.6 %)
Head: 45 cm. (80.9 %)

Waiting for Dr. Chapados

I want to eat her up!

Eliza! So proud that you are sleeping through the night. I'm glad it wasn't a fluke. You were definitely listening when Dr. Chapados laid it out! :)
