When we were home for Christmas we went and saw Dr. Wolens for her 2 year check-up (a few months late!). He said she is looking great!
Here are her stats:
Weight: 28 pounds-----48th percentile
Height: 36.3 inches-----72nd percentile
Head: 49.8 cm----------88th percentile
She is finally average weight (up from around the 30th % last time)! She is now drinking (well, she still won't drink too much milk so she is eating it without knowledge) 1% milk. He said her language appears to be more like a 3 year old than that of a 2 year old! AND, he thinks she is ready to be potty trained. However, Mommy is not ready to potty train! I love the convenience of diapers and am not a big fan of public restrooms. We will get on it though. We should get that done by the time baby sister arrives.

If she's ready, pottytraining won't be a big deal.
My tips (I know you didn't ask!):
*Start on a long weekend.
*Just put a potty in the bathroom for her to see and get comfortable around even if you don't make her use it all the time. Also, then you've started without having to really be actively training yet.
*When you do start, have her go after every meal and snack to help make it a habit for her to "try".
*Leave her on her potty with some books. You're probably too fun and she will get distracted!
*Pullups are expensive and will give her an excuse to still go in her pants. She head straight to the training undies. (I made the kids wear 2 at once for extra padding and to prevent leaks onto carpet/furniture, etc.)
*When the kids in her class start to go, she will get interested, too.
I'm so glad to hear that. I've been coming up with every excuse in the book why not to get Jaydon potty trained. First it was all the traveling we did during the holidays, then he came back sick again, then his birthday, then... well you get the idea. This weekend was a 'long weekend' with a teacher work day which was perfect but instead I got a cold, Steve's out of town - more excuses. He even wakes up talking about potty training and that poop and pee go in the potty. Diapers are just so easy and he's so easy to change - I keep having nightmares of standing in line at the grocery store with a full cart and Jaydon saying he has to go NOW and trying to figure out what in the world to do. Life it too complicated for all this nonsense. I guess we'll see if we actually make it to the target of potty training before #2 arrives...
Miss you guys!
Love
