Santa's Elves
Santa brought Olivia a play kitchen for Christmas this year. She always gravitates towards the kitchen at playgroup and I found a fun, all wood kitchen on sale. I read the reviews on-line that said it takes 4 hours to put together. Surely two engineers, a handy mom and Nonna could do it faster. We opened the box to find the entire thing was in hundreds of pieces. We succeeded in beating the 4 hours, but it did take us 2 1/2 hours on Christmas Eve. We were up until midnight...just a glimpse of future Christmas Eve's to come, I am sure.

WOW! I love that one. Ours (which I like now that it is put together) took EIGHT HOURS!! It was terrible! And we are fast at those things. I love the colors on Olivia's. Maybe Santa should bring it constructed next time!
