Eliza's class celebration of finishing the unit on buildings and construction

Eliza's skyscraper

Eliza, Pre-K

Olivia, 2nd Grade

One of the many reasons why I love ACS!  Each grade is in charge of one assembly per year.  It gives the kids a chance to perform and get on stage in front of the entire school.  Olivia's line: "I know just the place for a hungry elephant".  She said she was nervous, but you could never tell.  She loves to be on stage and perform.

Girls Night Out with my gym buddies

What do you do with gym friends after wine??? Arm wrestle!  Melanie easily took me down!

Mike took a guys' trip with Steve Connor to Oman and went fishing.  They caught this humongous thing!

 Mini-Vipers Basketball

After construction and buildings, Eliza's class tackled "balls".  So, what was Eliza thankful for this Thanksgiving??? "Learning about balls" of course! :-)

 Gym friends and coffee!

 Bathed and ready for Thanksgiving!

This one just loves that Daddy!

Like last year, we went over to the Carter's for Thanksgiving.  We got the big kids to help the littles with Thanksgiving crafts after the Macy's parade was over.

One last shot of my loves in their Fall dresses

Mike was a sport and took me to see Enrique Iglesias!  I love him!!  Mike said the show was better than he expected and actually liked it!

Getting a manicure at Picnic in the Park at school.  Another reason why I love ACS is that it is so service oriented.  The high school kids organize this event in order to raise money for the various service projects they are involved in.

Eating Donuts on a string with Olivia's friend, Victoria

E with Breece and a collection of tiaras

Olivia was excited to take a turn being in the wet sponge toss game!

 Getting hit in the face!

Ahhhhhh!  This tent building is going to be the death of me.  It. Never. Stops.

Sand Dune Pictures

We really wanted to get professional pictures taken out in the desert.  I decided to go ahead and do them in order to get my annual three picture collection of the girls.  I told the photographer that I needed three pictures of Eliza alone in the same outfit (I stopped doing Olivia's at 5, so I didn't need her alone).  That was my big priority.  She said no problem at all, I would have tons.  Well, Eliza was not at all interested in cooperating that day for pictures.  My one goal was not achieved, boo.  We did get some great family photos that I know we will cherish forever, though!

One of only two decent-ish pictures of Eliza alone

 The other

Most look something like this :|

Every time you say, "I love you" to Eliza, she says, "I love you more".  These girls.  My life, my loves
