Big Girl!

I finally turned Eliza around forward facing in her car seat.  We decided it was time since she was almost too tall for the limit of the car seat in that position and her legs were practically crossed when she was in the seat.  She didn't seemed bothered at all to still be rear-facing, but she has always been an excellent car rider.

POP!

Uncle Matt taught Olivia how to make a popping noise with her finger and mouth.  It has something he has always been able to do, even when we were really little.  I have never been able to do it and Olivia has gotten so good at it.  Eliza saw what she was doing over the last few weeks and somehow figured out how to do it by herself.  I still can't do it at all!  It is so cute and they are both so proud of themselves :)

Dallas!

Mike had a long business trip to Abu Dhabi at the beginning of August, so the girls and I decided to pack up and hit the road for Dallas!  We wanted to see the cousins one last time before school started and Chris and Heather's new house.  We had an absolute blast, as always.  Our trip got delayed by a day because my purse got stolen the day before we were supposed to leave! :(  I was pumping gas with the doors unlocked and some guy came and opened my car door and took my purse.  Thankfully, no one was hurt (despite me thinking it would be a good idea to chase his car on foot) and the girls were NOT with me.  I had been at a doctor's appointment and left the girls with Nonna.  We are still dealing with the pain that is insurance, huge hassle, to say the least.

We started off at Tim and Jenny's and got in lots of fun play time with Emery and Delia and then moved over to Chris and Heather's to play with Aiden and Haylie.

Eliza and I went over to the tot area and Eliza could not have enjoyed the water area more!

Her favorite part, the hand dryer :)

The girls practicing some martial arts

Olivia doing a little hip hop

And more water!  This activity turned into Eliza taking off her pants and the only diaper we had with us (both were SOPPING wet?)

Miss Priss preferring to stay dry with the frogs

 Awesome cousins!

Eliza without her pants on, wearing the way too wet diaper I made her put back on...wild child!
