The Lion King

For whatever reason, Olivia has been deathly afraid to watch The Lion King, not that I really care for her to watch movies, just seemed funny.  When we told her we were going to see the musical, she was not too thrilled about it.  I let her watch a couple scenes on YouTube from the actual musical and she got excited about it, "as long as we sit really high up".  We got her the cd of the musical and have since had almost daily Lion King dance sessions.

She LOVED it!!  She wants to go back "again and again".  I told her that it has to go to all the other cities before it comes back to Houston, and then we can go again.  She said, "That's right.  First it has to go to Dallas so my cousins can see it, then Rockport and then Canada for Mimi to see it".  Ha!  We had a great time with Nonna, Papa, and Aunt Carrie!

Swinging!

Our painter brought his 10 year old daughter over a couple times while he finished up a few things.  Anna taught Olivia how to pump herself on the swings.  So exciting for ALL of us! :)

Our Monkey

Eliza is FEARLESS!  She will climb on anything, throwing caution to the wind about how she might get down.  This is very different from how her older sister was!

So helpful, unloading the silverware drawer

Happy Birthday, America!

Olivia went to a twice a week, summer camp at her new school that starts in the Fall.  They had a parade around the halls for the parents right before the 4th.  They taught them to say, "Happy Birthday, America".  We heard that a lot for a few days.

We then drove to Rockport for the annual Stobaugh 4th of July Rockport madness.  It lived up to expectations.  Lots of cousin fun!

Fishing with Daddy :)

Best one of the four cousins

Watching the fireworks with Daddy.  Maybe next year Eliza will be ready for watching them out on the water with everyone

We went to the aquarium in Corpus the day after the 4th.  It was fun, tiring and HOT!

 Haylie was super brave!

Taking a ride on Pong Pong's new boat :)

 Pool fun!

She LOVED the umbrella pole and gave us all a huge giggle

Poor uncle Matt got to play the "I throw my paci and you pick it up" game the whole way back home ;)

Soccer Tots

We are official soccer parents!  Mike is taking Olivia to "soccer" (Soccer Tots) every Sunday and she adores it!  Mike went to Academy and outfitted her in all purple, her favorite color.

Ella and Sophie are in the class before hers.  On the first day, she sneaked in to their closing stamp time and got an extra stamp :)

She looks like a gazelle while playing soccer.  One of the moms asked if she was in dance because she prances around :)

Happy Birthday, Colton!!

We had a BLAST at Colton Lewis' birthday party!!!  Olivia wants to go to his pool for every birthday party now.

Eliza was absolutely fearless!  She just kept crawling straight into the water over and over.  She loved it and Mike and were exhausted from chasing her!

 Yummy ice cream!

 Delicious!

Believe it or not, this was Olivia's first time in a bounce house!
