Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!!!!

The rehearsal dinner Friday night was at Donn's Depot, an Austin fixture. Maybe a little too much fun was had by all! A huge thanks to Ducky for coming to Austin with me to watch Eliza both nights and to the Rays for keeping Olivia in Katy. It was the first time I have left Eliza for more than an hour or so and everyone did great.
As our friend John used to say, "Same people, different bar"--a lot of these photos are that, but they make me smile.

Next day at the wedding in the Hill Country:

Starbucks
I am a junkie, I admit it. A few months ago, Olivia sat at the bar in Rockport and Mike asked her what she wanted. She said, "Grande, Non-fat, No water Chai". That just about blew me away. I had no idea she was playing that much attention to what I often order.
As with most kiddos, Olivia loves to be like Mommy. The other day after I finished my coffee, she took the empty cup into the bathroom, rinsed it out, and filled it with water. She thought it was the greatest thing ever to sit and sip her "coffee" (Note the latest fashion for three year olds--an elephant wrist rattle :) )

Happy 4 Months!!!
Our sweet sweet girl is 4 months! She is just precious and continues to be super smiley and such a joy. Her giggles are too cute and make me grin ear to ear. It is really easy to get her to smile and laugh. Don't let all of her smiles and giggles fool you though. She pretty much has two speeds: extra happy or screaming tired. When she hits the wall, we all know about it. During the day, she really fights sleep! When she finally submits, she continues to enjoy sleeping in her favorite spot...Mama's arms. This makes household chores quite tricky. However, I try to remember the needle point that hung in my room as a baby that my mom gave me when Olivia was born:
Cleaning And Scrubbing Can Wait Till Tomorrow, For Babies Grow Up We've Learned To Our Sorrow. So Quiet Down Cobwebs Dust Go To Sleep I'm Rocking My Baby And Babies Don't Keep
4 Month Stats:
Weight: 13.3 lbs (23 %)
Height: 25 in. (60 %)
Head: 16.1 in. (48 %)
Everyone keeps telling me not to worry about her weight and I am trying! She still is just not a big eater. She loves to snack all day!
Some big smiles that I couldn't resist:

Apples, Apples, Apples
Oh my, do we have apples! Our bumper crop is out of control! If you walk around our yard, you will see trails of ripe apples that have just a few bites taken out of them :) A little one stops and has a quick snack and then gets back to being busy busy!

Maya enjoys her fair share of apples too! Since she can no longer supplement her diet with Tilly's food, she has to add calories from somewhere!
Sweet Sisters
I don't think I have really shared the extent to which Olivia ADORES her baby sister. I could not be more proud about how awesome Olivia has done with her role as a big sister. She truly enjoys her. I asked her the other day if she liked baby sister better IN Mommy's tummy or OUT of Mommy's tummy. She said, "out" and has since that day told me several times how happy she is that Eliza is out of Mommy's tummy. It is so sweet watching them. Eliza is just as smitten. She gives her big sister big smiles every day!
