Excersaucer

This weekend we put the Excersaucer back together. It was Eliza's first time in it...and you would have thought it was Olivia's first time too. She wouldn't get out of it :) It may be a couple weeks early for Eliza. When we return from our trip home in October, she will be ready!

Gymnastics

As usual, we have a fully loaded week! Olivia (and Mimi) have Little Caterpillar Academy M,W, F 9-12, Baby Ballet on Tuesdays, and Gymnastics on Thursdays. Ballet and Gymnastics are her first "unparented" activities. Perfect timing now that Mama's got her hands full with Sweet Eliza. Olivia really loved Gymnastics last Fall (we did Music in the Spring) and she was thrilled to be going again.

Just Can't Get Enough

Love this sweet smile

Eliza REALLY Found Her Voice!!

I thought a couple weeks ago Eliza had found her voice. Oh, was I wrong! Now she has really found her voice and she is not afraid to use it! I feel sorry for the people next to us on the plane in two weeks :)

Slumber Party!

Olivia had her first sleepover! Mimi's parents had a two day wedding to attend, so Mimi spent Friday night with us. The girls were so excited! We blew up the Areo Bed for Mimi and hoped against hope they wouldn't stay up all night chatting. I had to go in a couple times with a gentle reminder that it was time to close their eyes and go to sleep. It was only after a promise of pancakes in the morning did they finally quit chatting about all the important things two, three year olds chat about.

Backyard Fun:

Two buddies on a mission

Awww!! Olivia told me the other day that "Mimi is my favorite friend"

Having some "cake" (the tutus came out, of course)

What would a sleepover be without a pillow fight...

or jumping on the bed?

Hide and seek under the covers

Bedtime stories

Giving Daddy Mike some water

Helping Daddy Mike make pancakes in the morning

They found two "microphones" on the counter ;)

Giving Olivia a taste of flour

Having a snack later

Back in the backyard, making sand castles

Trying to indoctrinate the Canadian. She chose the Longhorn tutu over the 4th of July tutu

Eliza getting in on all the fun

How we treat our house guests!

Eliza Found Her Feet

I LOVE it when they find their feet. It is precious watching them grab them like, "Hey have these been here all this time?! How cool are these?"

First Day of Preschool

Olivia couldn't wait for her first day of Little Caterpillar Academy!

Baby Ballet

Hands down, this is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! I definitely was more excited for Olivia's first ballet class than she was. I couldn't wait to see her in her pink leotard, tights, ballet slippers and tutu.
We had to work and work to get all of her curls into one pony tail.

Practicing her moves

Getting ready to go in. SO excited!

Her "Baby Ballet" class went in for 15 minutes and then all of the parents (Mike came to see her first day of ballet too!) got to watch what they had already learned in that short time. These little gals are SO CUTE! Olivia's bestie, Mimi, is also in her class!

Waiting for her sticker

Checking out each others stickers after class!
